BLU-MED and California's EMSA Disaster Response Facilities
Blu-Med was asked to equip California State’s Emergency Management Agency with three 200-bed mobile field hospitals to offer flexible, rapid triage and advanced trauma care in the event of a natural disaster or terrorist attack. In just two days, lights and water were on in the mobile hospital, basic equipment and supplies and medical teams were ready. In less than 72 hours notification, the entire deployable hospital became fully operational.
