Nik started his Nursing career in Middlesbrough, UK. He gained experience in General & Maxillofacial Surgery. He then moved into Cardiac Surgical ICU specialty where he spent over 15 years working in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Australia. He has held a number of different positions: Clinical Nurse, Clinical Educator, Nurse Unit Manager and Transplant Co-ordinator.
Although still a Registered Nurse, Nik moved into the area of Patient Simulation, where he was employed as the National Clinical Education Manager for a Medical Device Company. Here he was responsible for the development and facilitation of Clinical Simulation programs for both nurses and clinicians using the METI High fidelity patient simulators.
In 2010 Nik Joined Device Technologies Australia as the Queensland Clinical Education Manager, supporting both the Product Specialists and the Customer base in Anaesthetics and Critical Care product education. He then moved into the sales arena selling both capital and consumable Critical care/Anaesthetic products.
In 2013 Nik became the Queensland Regional Manager for Device Technologies and is actively involved in all aspects of the business supporting the Queensland Staff, the General Managers, Business Managers and Sales Managers to deliver innovative technologies to the market and grow the business as a whole.
Nik is also actively involved in evaluating new and innovative products to bring to the market for the Critical Care/Anaesthetic portfolios, as well as being the National Clinical Education Manager for the Sotera Visi Mobile monitoring system.
Nik fulfils the role of Clinical Optimisation Manager for Mobilis Medical.
